Paying attention

Design is about story and emotion; so is photography. The love of nature and my interest in listening to its messages colors every aspect of my approach to design, to UX and to life in general.

Of the air

I love the birds of Florida. The butterflies and dragonflies aren't bad either. Some live here all the time and some stop in on their way to other places. They are a diverse lot: colorful, graceful, strange and often otherworldly.

Of the earth

The things of the earth are easy to miss. They move more slowly, their arrival takes time and they're often inconspicuous. If you need to slow down, look to the things of the earth for your inspiration.

From a distance

Seeing from a distance gives us perspective on our place in the world. When we step back, we understand that life is much bigger than we are.
